Sharing why you #LoveTeaching

On #WorldTeachersDay Education Support Partnership asked you to share why you love your job!

World Teachers’ Day is an awareness day held annually on 5 October. It is a UNESCO initiative, a day devoted to appreciating the educators of the world. 

We often hear about the negative aspects of being a teacher. Many teachers told us at events we have attended that there is too much negativity around the profession.

On the day we therefore wanted to celebrate teachers, show our appreciation and encourage teaching staff to see how much the work they do makes a positive contribution to society through educating future generations.

We focused on the positive aspects of the profession encouraging teaching staff to share on Twitter why they love what they do using the hashtag #LoveTeaching. And many of you did share your fantastic, positive thoughts on why you love your jobs.

Here are some of the highlights below:
