Supporter Experience Officer

Think back to your school days - to that one teacher who inspired you and helped you become the person you are today. Imagine if that teacher had been so stressed with work pressures, that they’d left the profession for good. This is a growing reality for those in education today – with 34% of teachers planning to leave by 2020 due to stress and workload.

  • Do you have a passion for education, well-being and championing mental health?
  • Are you a donor-centric fundraising professional who understands the importance of an excellent supporter experience when it comes to retaining and growing income from individuals?
  • Do you want to use these skills to make a difference to the lives of the people who teach?

If so, Education Support Partnership may have the perfect role for you!

We are looking for a fundraiser with a clear focus on supporters and their experience with the charity, and a flair for communications to help us engage with our donors. This is a role that will allow you to use your experience in individual giving or supporter care to make the charity feel personal and relevant to each donor at every touch point.

You will use your experience to project manage all aspects of donor communications, such as the Christmas Appeal and Supporter Magazine. You will use your creativity and fundraising skills to build on our calendar of communications, and take our supporter journey from ‘good’ to ‘great’.

To hit the ground running, this role would suit someone with a background working in an individual giving or supporter care team. You may currently be at assistant or junior officer looking to step up, or an experienced officer wanting a role with more breadth and ownership.

This is a wonderful opportunity for supporter-focused candidate to put their mark on the job and be a key member of a brilliant charity. You will be joining a growing fundraising team, and have the opportunity to learn about other areas of fundraising and be a key member of the team for events such as our comedy night. The salary is competitive along with a host of excellent benefits it offers to all staff members.

If you sound like the person we’re looking for – get in touch. We can’t wait to hear from you!
