Charity People and Culture Conference

Wednesday, 20 September, 2017
9:00 - 16:45
Congress Centre, London, WC1B 3LS

On Wednesday 20th September, we'll be at the Charity People and Culture Conference engaging in the panel: Leadership in turbulent times - recollections and reflections starting at 11:40

Never before has the charity sector as a whole come under such intense levels of scrutiny and pressure by way of limited resources and funding, and as a result many organisations have had to make difficult strategic decisions to safeguard the future of their organisations. The panel will reflect on their collective experiences, including developing alliances and partnerships as well as organisational mergers and restructures, and deliberate on how leaders can act in the best interest of their beneficiaries while maintaining staff morale and a positive working culture.

Chaired by Chief Executive of Thames Reach, Jeremy Swain, the panellists are:

-Julian Stanley: Chief Executive, Education Support Partnership,

-Paul Amaddi: Executive Director of Engagement & Fundraising, MS Society

-Angela Buxton: HR Director, Mencap

-Baroness Delyth Morgan: Chief Executive, Breast Cancer Now
